Samsung Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9+ launch on February 25: Expected Specifications

Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ will be officially released on 25th February in Barcelona ahead of the MWC 2018. 


The design will continue to remain the metal and glass but the big difference is on the camera front. Samsung will introduce a new version of the DeX Pad for the Galaxy S9 series, where a user can plug in the device and enjoy a desktop-like experience on the mobile itself.


Samsung S9 Features:

It comes with a 5.8-inch QHD+ resolution and SAMOLED display type, metal and glass design, Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, bezel-less on the sides with narrow bezels on the top and bottom. There is no physical home button. It will be on Android Oreo 8.0 with Samsung’s Touch Wiz on top.



The Samsung S9 comes with 4GB RAM powered by Exynos 9810 octa-core processor, 64GB internal memory and the microSD card support upto 400GB. The Galaxy S9 will have a 12MP rear camera with dual apertures: f/1.5 and f/2.4 for improve low light performance. The front camera will be 8MP. It packs a 3000 mAh battery.

Samsung S9+ Features:

It comes with a 6.2-inch QHD+ resolution and SAMOLED display type, metal and glass design, Infinity Display with an 18.5:9 aspect ratio, bezel-less on the sides with narrow bezels on the top and bottom. There is no physical home button. It will be on Android Oreo 8.0 with Samsung’s Touch Wiz on top. 

The Samsung S9+ comes with 6GB RAM powered by Exynos 9810 octa-core processor, 64GB internal memory and the microSD card support upto 400GB. The Galaxy S9+ will have a 12MP+12MP dual rear camera with dual apertures: f/1.5 and f/2.4 for improve low light performance. The front camera will be 8MP.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ will have a dual-rear camera, and there will be a Lilac Purple version of the phone as well. It packs a 35 00 mAh battery.

The Samsung’s new Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are also expected to be priced higher than the previous year’s Galaxy S8 series. The Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ are expected to go on sale mid-March.
