Google has announced Android Go program for emerging markets where people barely afford a budget-friendly smartphone and it will be made available where the network coverage is scarce and mobile data is expensive.
Android Go is the light version of the Android Operating System. This new initiative has been supported by all smartphone manufactures and all manufactures are started to work on their low budget smartphone as part of Android Go Platform.
It seems Nokia is working on a New entry level smartphone (Part of Android Go Program) which runs on Android Go, will be launched by HMD Global and it will be available exclusively in emerging markets soon. Nokia 1 may come with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage and expected to come with 5″ HD screen. Launch is expected to happen sometime in March, cost if expected around €80($95).
