Facebook has introduced a new facial recognition features which recognises when somebody uploads a photo of you, Facebook will identify you all by itself, no need any physical input. Facebook has already using the facial recognition technology for years for features like suggested tagging and photo organizing, the same technology is used to identify the people in the photos.

“You’re in control of your image on Facebook and can make choices such as whether to tag yourself, leave yourself untagged, or reach out to the person who posted the photo if you have concerns about it.”
Facebook is also planning to introduce another new feature that’ll let you know if someone is trying to impersonate you on Facebook by using your photo as their profile image. Facebook confirms that these features will be available across the globe except for Canada and the EU where Facebook currently doesn’t offer face recognition technology.
