Samsung started to push Android Nougat updates for its recently released mobile phones which are released during 2017. The mid range mobile Samsung Galaxy A5 is now getting Android N. It is available for the devices in Russia now and slowly it will be release to the rest of the counties.
For manual updates in Galaxy A5 (2017), Go to Settings -> Software update and manually check if the update is available.
Apart from the the latest openly available version of Android, the update also brings a slightly refreshed interface, a redesigned Multi Window multitasking feature that feels closer to what Google had in mind with the stock take on the funcitonality, enhanced Always On Display, as well as Samsung Pass, and improved notifications.
