HiSilicon’s Kirin 970 reported to have begun mass production

A report from Taiwan claims that commercial production of the Kirin 970 has begun and the mass production will start from September.

The Kirin 970 - 10nm SoC may go with Cortex A73 or A75 CPU architecture and the main focus is on a more powerful GPU with 12 cores. It may become the first chip to debut with Artificial Intelligence. 

It is reported that the Huawei Mate 10 will debut with Kirin 970 processor and it is rumored to be announced in October. It is expected that the Mate 10 to have a 6" “Full Active Display” with a 2:1 aspect ratio, and 2160 x 1080p resolution.
