WhatsApp Beta Version to bring PiP Video Call Feature for Android O devices

The VoIP and Video calls are must have features in most of the iOS and Android devices. The Facebook owned WhatsApp is now experimenting with the Video Calling Feature by adding Picture-in-picture (PiP) feature.

The information was revealed by @WABetaInfo on Twitter that shows a new WhatsApp Beta Version 2.17.265. There is a picture posted in Twitter which reveals the PiP feature in WhatsApp for Android.

The feature is enabled by default in WhatsApp and it allows user to chat with other people as well while the video call is in progress.

As per the Tweet, the this feature is only available in WhatsApp Beta Version 2.17.265 for Android 8.0 or Android O devices. Most of the devices are still running on Android 6.0 (N) and Android 7.0 (M). Only the Google Pixel devices will get the Android O updates soon when it is released.

A recent leak also hinted that WhatsApp is working on integrating YouTube inside the app, where users can play YouTube links shared in conversations inside the app.
