OnePlus 2 to get OxygenOS 3.5.9 update, fixes 4G VoLTE support issues

OnePlus is now rolling out OxygenOS 3.5.9 update to OnePlus 2 devices to fix the 4G VoLTE support issues. OxygenOS 3.5.5 was released during last December to OnePlus 2 devices to support 4G VoLTE. From then, users were reporting connectivity interruptions. OnePlus has rolled out OxygenOS 3.5.8 during March 2017 and told the users that it will fix the 4G connectivity issues. But that didn't satisfy the users.

Now OxygenOS 3.5.9 is being rolled out Ovet The Air to the users and OnePlus is claiming that this update will fix the 4G connection issues. The OxygenOS 3.5.9 is built on Android 6 Marshmallow, it is already confirmed that the OnePlus 2 which was 2015 flagship phone, will not get Android 7 Nougat update officially.  It is a surprise as it was previously claimed that the smartphone will be provided the Android Nougat update (Any OnePlus device will get updates for 24 months). But the OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T devices will get Android O update in future. The OnePlus users can get the OxygenOS 3.5.9 update through push notifications or by checking the system updates manually. Users may need to wait for some time as OnePlus is releasing the updates to the devices gradually.

The OnePlus is rolling out 4.5.5 update to OnePlus 5 devices, which fixes the Wi-Fi connectivity issues, voice calling clarity and optimized battery consumption during video recording.
