Xiaomi has started to test new gesture controls – called full display gestures for its full display smartphones, Mi MIX models and Redmi 5 series phones. Xiaomi has added to its own custom layer MIUI 9, Global Beta ROM 7.12.28.
If you want to go back to the Home screen, you can swipe from the bottom of the screen to the top of it. Swipe from the bottom of the screen and then stop for a second, you will find that Recents can be activated. And if you’d like to return to the previous page, all you have to do is swipe from the left or right of the screen to the middle of it.
These gestures are similar to iPhone X’s gestures, Is Xiaomi planning to remove the home button from its smartphones similar to iPhone X?
