Huawei’s CEO Richard Yu confirmed that Mate 10 will be released in US by December 2017 but it has been delayed and it is expected to be launch in February 2018 through AT&T. First time Huawei has ever sold a phone through a major American carrier AT&T. Not sure officially many carriers will follow the list.
Few technical adjustments are made based on US standards most likely network frequency support. Huawei believes that it needs to succeed in the US which challenge Apple and Samsung in the high-end smartphone whereas many Americans haven’t even heard of Huawei in history of smartphones.
Huawei’s hopes are high that it is going to be capable to get massive marketing campaign in USA.
