Nokia to launch a new phone in India on October 31

India is one of largest market for HMD Global and the company is getting ready to launch a new device in India next week. HMD Global has sent out invites for an event on October 31, where the company is expected to reveal new device. Here they may announce the entire new device Nokia 2 or Nokia 7 which was launched recently in China.

Nokia 7 comes with 5.2 inches and comes with 4GB or 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal Storage. Nokia 7 is powered by Snapdragon 630 and a 3000mAh battery. Device cost starts from $375 for 4GB RAM variant(RS 25000). It comes with Android 7.1.1 out of the box. HMD Global could be gearing up to launch the entry-level Nokia 2, which retails for the equivalent of $99, with the device going up against the likes of the Redmi 4.

At this point, it’s anyone’s guess as to what the device could be, but we should know more next Tuesday.
