HMD has already confirmed to update all Nokia smartphones to Android 8.0 Oreo. The HMD also announced at a launch event in the Philippines that the Nokia smartphones will be upgraded to Android P once it is released in next year.
The Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphones will get Android P update and the smart phones that are released by HMD at the time Android P goes official will also be upgraded to the new version of the OS.It includes the rumored Nokia 2, which will be the company's cheapest smartphone may also get Android P.
The statement coming from HMD's official in a Facebook page confirms the Android P update for Nokia smartphones.
