All HMD-made Nokia smartphones to get Android 8 Oreo

HMD Global's Chief Product Officer, Juho Sarvikas officially confirmed that the Nokia devices will getr Android 8 update on Twitter, which includes the low-end mobile Nokia 3 as well.

All of our smartphones will upgrade to Oreo, Nokia 3 included. No comments yet on timing so that I don't get into trouble .

Google has already confirmed that the Oreo update will be available for the Nokia manufacturer HMD Global and other companies are "scheduled to be launching or upgrading new devices to Android 8.0 Oreo", but the mobile models are not revealed at that time.

However, it is now confirmed by the CPO that the update is for all Nokia devices and also the company has promised at least two years of OS update support for its devices, which means that the new Nokia should receive the next major Android update as well.
