OnePlus has released a teaser for new OnePlus 5 color yesterday. It seems the third option will be gold, as the color was mentioned in a TENAA listing before the phone was even announced, but today brought actual proof of this. Amazon India also posted a teaser for New color, We got a clue in the source code of the page for the Amazon India listing of the handset.
The OnePlus 5 is currently sold in India with 6GB/64GB and 8GB/128GB variants through various retailers, one of them being the local division of Amazon. It has the “5omething New. Coming Soon” banner on top that suggests a new color. But when you look at the code, you see the promo image coming from a subfolder named “gold”.
Still we are not sure about whether the gold color will come with 6GB/64GB or 8GB/128GB variant.
The color is not exactly new for OnePlus either. The 3T sported a Soft Gold version, while the OnePlus X was available in Champagne.
