Meizu has officially confirmed that its next flagship smartphone, the Meizu Pro 7, will be released on July 26 at the Opera House in China.
The company has released a teaser image for Meizu Pro 7, and it confirms that the device features with "Dual Screen". The secondary screen is placed at the back, just below the camera which can be used to take selfies with rear camera. Unlike YotaPhone's e-ink display, Meizu Pro 7 will be featured with color display. It features the most interesting "Secondary Display" and also the "Dual Camera" at the back.
As per the reports, the Meizu Pro 7 will be featured with 5.2" Full HD Display, 6/8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory for the top end and powered by MediaTek Helio X30 SoC chipset, comes with Android Nougat out of the box, with Meizu’s Flyme OS skin on top of it.
On the optics, Meizu Pro 7 will be featured with 12MP Sony IMX386 + IMX 286 dual camera setup at the back and a 16MP front camera. The phone will have Meizu’s mBack multi functional home key on the front, function as a physical home key, capacitive back button and also a fingerprint scanner.
The price is expected to be 2799 Yuan ($414) and 3299 Yuan ($488) for the two variants of the phone. Note that these specs and pricing details are yet to be confirmed.
